Brain activation: Cognitive ability and learning

This project investigated how intelligence, working memory capacity and scholastic learning are related. For this, the collection of behavioral data was complemented with measurements of brain activity using electroencephalography (EEG). This combination allowed a deeper understanding of the particular cognitive and neural processes that differ between more and less able people.The study was conducted at the Neurolab of D-​GESS.
